The Scottish Football League Division One was played for the 51st time in 1950/51 . It was also the 54th edition of the highest soccer division within the Scottish Football League in which the Scottish champions were determined. It began on September 9, 1950 and ended on May 8, 1951. In the 1950/51 season, 16 clubs competed against each other in a total of 30 match days.
