The 6th Cavalry Division was a large unit of the Prussian Army .

history

The division was formed as part of the mobilization at the beginning of the First World War , initially deployed on the Western Front and relocated to the Eastern Front in early November 1914 . Here they fought until mid-January 1917 and then returned to the Western Front. There its existence ended on April 30, 1918 and the division was merged into the 6th Cavalry Rifle Division .
