Aumont is a French commune in the Jura department, the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Dole , the canton of Bletterans and the community association Communauté de communes Comté de Grimont, Poligny .
The neighboring municipalities are Vaudrey and La Ferté in the north, Mathenay in the northeast, Abergement-le-Grand in the east, Montholier in the south, Neuvilley in the southwest and Oussières in the west.
