At the Monaco Grand Prix, Pirelli provided the drivers with the tire compounds P Zero Supersoft (red), P Zero Ultrasoft (purple), P Zero Hypersoft (pink), as well as Cinturato Intermediates (green) and Cinturato Full Wets (blue) for wet conditions . It was the first Grand Prix where the Hypersoft compound was used.

The course was re-paved in the area of the start-finish straight and between the Mirabeau and the Piscine .

In contrast to the other racetracks on the racing calendar, there was only one DRS zone in Monaco, which is located on the start-finish straight and remained unchanged compared to the previous year. It started 18 meters after the last curve, the measuring point was 80 meters behind the piscine .
