Suppé,) the popular composer, celebrated the 40th anniversary of his work as a composer and conductor on March 9th. The jubilee was honored with countless ovations. The Mayor of Vienna Dr. v. Newald personally presented him with the resolution of the parish council, according to which v. Suppé has been made a citizen of Vienna.
