List of streets and squares in Berlin-Konradshöhe
The list of streets in Berlin-Konradshöhe shows the streets in the Berlin district of Konradshöhe with their historical references. At the same time, this compilation is part of the lists of all Berlin streets and squares .
overview
Konradshöhe has 6,004 inhabitants (as of December 30, 2019) and includes the postal code area 13505.
There are 45 dedicated streets and two squares in Konradshöhe . Of the streets, nine only partially belong to the district, with the eastern side of the road in particular belonging to the Tegeler Forest as the district boundary. The district is divided into the northern Konradshöhe and the Tegelort area on Helgaweg , where the Berlin Forest Tegel has a bottleneck of 140 meters. The total length of all streets in the district is 10.3 kilometers.
There was already a homestead here in 1868. Theodor Rohmann built his coppersmith's shop in the district without permission and against the will of the authorities and formed the starting point for this colony on the Havel , which became a popular destination for Berliners. Settlement centers in the district are the colonies Jörsfeld, Tegelort and Konradshöhe. These settlements determined the development of the road system. Konradshöhe - mainly with street names according to bird species - is located in the north of today's district, Tegelort is in the south on the banks of the Havel and Tegeler See and Jöhrsfelde forms the middle part, these two locations once with street names after people mostly have women's first names. The streets in the district are wide compared to other residential streets in Berlin. Since the district is built on, no new streets have been added since the 1970s, new residential buildings (often multi-family houses) were created by densifying open spaces or by dividing land.
The main system runs along the road Havel with connection of Heiligensee the north on sand Hauser , Jays , Friedericke- , Jöhrsstraße car ferry on Havel to hook field . In addition, there is Habichtstraße (towards the northeast), which leads from Tegel along Konradshöher Straße to Falkenplatz, to Sandhauser and Eichelhäserstraße. In the Berlin Road Development Plan (StEP), the additions to the districts: Sandhauser Strasse, Falkenplatz and Habichtstrasse are classified as regional and Jay, Friederike and Jörsstrasse as supplementary .

- Street names changed since 1925
- Bussardstraße leads from Falkenplatz with the side streets: Dorndreherweg, Rohrweihestraße, Am Krähenberg, Stößerstraße and is mostly located on undeveloped land and on the forest. Before 1922 the street was laid out and named after this species of raptor . On September 23, 1938, it was included as an extension to → Sandhauser Strasse , which previously only existed in the Heiligensee colony .
- Neuntöter alley : it is 1925 as a side street thorn Dreher path specified and undeveloped, she was named the Red-backed Shrike an alternative name of the thorn turner. In the 1936 address book it is still mentioned as undeveloped and no longer listed in the 1937 address book, it was deleted without replacement.
- At Rabenhorst , 1925 is listed as undeveloped from Milanstrasse (next to Rabenstrasse and Rabenhorststrasse). It is no longer recorded in the 1930 address book. It was built over from the neighboring streets.
- Seeadlerufer : it lies along the Havel from Falkenhorststrasse southwards and is still noted in the address book as undeveloped in 1943. It was (probably) included in Havelstraße between 1947 and 1951 and since April 10, 1961, has only been the extension of → Bärbelstraße used as a footpath . There are many jetties and rowing and sailing clubs here, but their properties are assigned to the southern branch of the inland Schwarzspechtstraße.
Even before 1925, some planned or laid streets were renamed.
- Bontestraße : The street was already drawn in 1908 and named after the Berlin banker Moritz Friedrich Bonte (1847–1938). Before 1922, the street was named → Rohrweihstrasse , including part of Strasse 13 .
- Colbergstrasse : The name is already mentioned on February 18, 1893 on the development plan. The name is derived from the entrepreneur Wilhelm Colberg , who owned two storage facilities for storing natural ice in Tegelort . Around 1900, the "regional" namesake was replaced by Reich Chancellor Bismarck , before it was renamed to → Friederikestrasse in 1961, which is customary in the area .
- Grenzstraße : as the southern boundary of the Joersfeld colony created by Joers, it is named under this name in the development plan of August 25, 1894. However, it was already listed as → Joersstraße before 1908 .
- Hinterfeldstraße : The name is noted on the development plan from December 11, 1896 and refers to the "Hinterfeld" in the southern part of the Heiligensee field, to which in 1896 the later "Colony Conradshöhe" still belonged. Before 1908 it was listed as Straße 11 and before 1922 it was given the local name of a bird species as → Eicheljähstraße .
- Rohmannstrasse is named as Strasse 6 in the first development plan and was named between 1896 and 1902 after August Friedrich Theodor Rohmann (1828–1902), a coppersmith, innkeeper and landowner in Konradshöhe. It was renamed → Falkenhorststrasse in 1922. Information about Rohmann and his importance for the settlement can be found in the district article .
- Tegelorter Strasse : Already in the development plan of December 11, 1896, it is listed as the road to Tegelort (the riverside village at the entrance of the Tegeler See to the Havel), since 1908 at the latest it has been shown on the map. The road led from the direction of Heiligensee to the villa colony Tegelort (today the southern location in the Konradshöhe district). Already before 1922, the part south of Falkenplatz was renamed → Eichelhäserstrasse and the northern part → Sandhauser Strasse .
In 1939, some street names are still numbered or only referenced according to the development plan (new plan: over 300): Straße 306 (undeveloped, with see → Schwarzspechtweg ), Straße 308 (partially built-up), Straße 309 (undeveloped), Straße 310 ( partially built- up , Summer houses), Straße 311 (built-up, gardens) and Straße 327 (built-up, → Lachtaubenweg ).

- ↑ a b c On June 10, 1872, the dyer Carl Berger bought a piece of land on Lake Tegel and built a house with an inn on it. More houses followed and in 1896 Tegelort was officially designated as a villa suburb of Berlin. Like Jörsfelde, which was created in 1891, Tegelort was a settlement area for summer visitors to Berlin.
