List of streets in Berlin-Lübars
The list of streets in Berlin-Lübars shows the streets in the Berlin district of Lübars with their historical references. At the same time, this compilation is part of the lists of all Berlin streets and squares .
overview
The Lübars district has 5,203 inhabitants (as of December 30, 2019) and includes the postal code area 13469. The 45 dedicated streets in the district have a total length of 17.25 kilometers, which is three percent of the road network in the Reinickendorf district .
The Anger of the village of Lübars is the village street, main street and today Alt-Lübars the origin of the street system, which is limited in the north. On the one hand through the city limits along the landscape protection area (LSG) along Tegeler Fließ , and until 1990 also through the Berlin Wall in the north and east . In 1884, with the Blankenfelde stop of the northern railway and the Wittenau train station , which was expanded between 1908 and 1911 , Lübars developed into a popular excursion destination for Berliners. The first expansion of the village took place at the turn of the century with the "Vogtland settlement" in front of the actual village, which is still evidenced by the street name. In 1921 the settlement of the War Home Association followed to the west .
The main road Zabel-Krüger-Damm - Alt-Lübars - Blankenfelder Chaussee in west-east direction is the only one that belongs to the regional road system (RBS) according to the road development plan. The approaches to the district from the south via Quickborner Straße from the Märkisches Viertel and Wittenauer Straße from the B 96 via the southern section of Alt-Lübars are classified as supplementary streets.
The settlement around the farming village (Alt-Lübars) and with it the road system took place in several sections since the 1910s. The development of the “Warrior Home Settlement” played a role. Later, the undeveloped peripheral location was conducive to the creation of arbor colonies . In particular, after the construction of the Wall for West Berlin, here preferably for the North Berlin Reinickendorf with the large Märkisches Viertel housing estate, there was a need for open natural space. With the fall of the wall and the resulting improved location, allotment gardens became housing estates. The settlement sequence came from Wittenau and Hermsdorf, while in the south to Rosenthal the large Märkisches Viertel settlement developed as a separate district. The Lübars district mostly consisted of the agricultural areas of the Lübars farmers, whose land also lay on the Blankenfeld Rieselfeldern. The remaining arable land is in particular on Quickborner Strasse.

Housing estates
Some settlement associations have not subjected their (arbor) colonies to the conditions of the Federal Allotment Garden Act or have been rededicated to residential areas in the land use plan due to urban development. For example, garden colonies became housing estates under the responsibility of the Reinickendorf district, and private garden paths were sometimes converted into dedicated streets. With dedication and inclusion in the list of the Statistics Office Berlin-Brandenburg or by inclusion in the RBS network details such roads are included in the table above.
- AEG-Siedlung Heimat (RBS: 6103, Lage ), this settlement was built in 1935 with its 44 pieces of land for AEG workers. The settlement extends between Zabel-Krüger-Damm (then Platanenstrasse ) and Wittenauer Strasse south and north of the Klötzebecken, on the western edge close the allotment gardens, Wiesengrund I and II '. In the south the settlement ends on Rathenowgraben in front of the Rosenthaler Wiesenbusch. The settlement was initially laid out provisionally after 1945 and built up in the 2010s was then regulated according to planning law.
- Garden colony Deilinge (RBS 6246, Deilingeweg 1, Lage ) located on the northern extension of the Deilingeweg, south of the NSG Eichwerder on the Tegeler Fließ . - Mühlenberg settlement ( location ): it is located around the Mühlenberg, which derives its name from the mill built in 1847. The streets here are all related to milling .
- Neu-Lübars settlement (RBS 6582, location ): It is located on Quickborner Strasse in the south of the district on the border with the Märkisches Viertel. The garden colony along the (only) main path to the Rabehorstgraben remained in the northwest of the Lübarser Aue as a 60 meter wide strip of 82,400 m². The developed garden areas north of the Bruchstückegraben and the Niederbarnimer Railway of the KGA "NBE-Quickborner Straße" (street number 5961) were built with new housing developments ( Lübarser Aue , Am Rodelberg ) by an investor in the 2010s . - Rathenow settlement (RBS 6632, location ) north of the old Bernauer Heerweg opposite the Lübarser Park. The Rathenow family has lived in the village for centuries. The Rathenow settlement was set up in the late 1920s as an allotment garden colony on previously agricultural land. The total area is privately owned and has plots of 400–600 m² each, which are leased to the respective users. The area was developed into a residential area and secured by a development plan. “The Rathenow settlement in Lübars shows a structural consolidation that goes far beyond the allotment garden use.
