Martin Krämer (born December 23, 1987 in Erfurt ) is a German chess player .
successes
In 2006 he won the International German Youth Championship in Deizisau . In the same year he acquired the C trainer license. He won the German individual championship in rapid chess in 2013 in Gladenbach and in 2014 in Altenkirchen (Westerwald) .
Team chess
Martin Krämer from Erfurt played team chess at SV Medizin Erfurt up to and including the 2005/06 season . In the 2006/07 season he played for SF Berlin in the German Chess League, which, however, relegated with him. In the 2007/08 season he played on the top board of the Erfurter SK in the top German division. Despite Martin Krämer's Elo increase in these two seasons, the Erfurt team also went down, so that he returned to the newly promoted SF Berlin for the 2008/09 season , where he has played since then. In the Austrian 1st Bundesliga he played for ASVÖ Wulkaprodersdorf from the 2007/08 season to the 2017/18 season . In the Swiss National League A he has been playing for the Lucerne chess club since the 2014 season , with which he became Swiss team champion in 2018 .
For the German national team, he took part in the third board at the 2007 Mitropa Cup in Szeged . Germany took third place. He was nominated by national coach Uwe Bönsch for the 2010 Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk , where he scored 6 points from 9 games on the fourth board.
Title and rating
Since September 2006 he has held the title of International Master . All he achieved the standards for this purpose in 2005: in the German Individual Championship in Altenkirchen (Westerwald) in February, in which he finished 16th Place and in the IM tournament in Norderstedt in May and an IM B tournament in Olomouc in August. He's been a grandmaster since September 2012. He achieved all the required standards in the Bundesliga chess league, namely in the seasons 2009/10 , 2010/11 (with over-fulfillment and victories against, among others, Radosław Wojtaszek and Nikita Witjugow ) and 2011/12 .
In February 2015 he is in 15th place in the German Elo ranking.
