geography
Mons is located about 17 kilometers north-northwest of Cognac in the Saintonge . Mons is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Prignac in the north and north-west, Thors in the north, Sonnac in the north-east, Bréville in the east and south-east, Cherves-Richemont in the south and south-east, Mesnac and Le Seure in the south, Migron in the west and Courcerac in the north-west.
