The Scottish FA Cup was played for the third time in 1875/76 . The most important Scottish soccer cup competition began in October 1875 and ended with the final game on March 11 and the necessary replay March 18, 1876. FC Queen's Park was able to win the third edition of the competition for the third time. After a 1-1 draw in the first game against Third Lanark , a week later a 2-0 win at Hampden Park in Glasgow followed .
