Zwetkowo ( Russian Цветково , German  Wulfshöfen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .

Geographical location

Zwetkowo is located northeast of the Rajons capital Gurjewsk (Neuhausen) about two kilometers southwest of Dobrino (Nautzken) and can be reached via a dirt road from the regional road 27A-024 (ex A190 ) in a southerly direction. The train station is Dobrino on the Kaliningrad – Sowetsk line (Königsberg – Tilsit) .

history

The former Gutsdorf, called Wulfshöfen until 1950 , was incorporated into the newly established district of Mettkeim in 1874. Until 1945 it belonged to the district of Labiau in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . On December 1, 1910, 119 people lived here.

Wulfshöfen lost on 3o. September 1928 became independent when it was incorporated with the neighboring village of Perkappen (today in Russian: Poltawskoje) to Sellwethen (Jegorjewskoje).

As a result of the Second World War , Wulfshöfen came to the Soviet Union due to its location in northern East Prussia . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Zwetkowo and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Dobrinski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Zwetkowo belonged to the rural municipality Dobrinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

Before 1945, the population of Wulfshöfen was almost exclusively of the Protestant denomination. The village then belonged to the parish Kaymen (1938-1946 Kaimen , today Russian: Saretschje) in the parish of Labiau (Polessk) within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Zwetkowo is in the catchment area of ​​the newly founded Evangelical Lutheran parish in Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) , a subsidiary of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
