Template:Geobox Holyoke Heritage State Park celebrates the history and culture of the City of Holyoke, Massachusetts. It is operated and managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The park occupies the site of the William Skinner Silk Mill, which was lost to fire in 1980.[1]
Activities and amenities
- Visitors center: The visitors center has exhibits about paper manufacturing and Holyoke's industrial and cultural history. Admission is free.
- Picnicking: The landscaped grounds offer views of the city's industrial canals and mill buildings.
- The Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, the Children's Museum at Holyoke, and the Volleyball Hall of Fame are also located in the park.[2]
