Bollenbach is a municipality in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Herrstein-Rhaunen community .

Bollenbach is located in the Hunsrück east of the Idarwald . To the north is Rhaunen , east Bundenbach and southwest is Sulzbach .

history

Until the municipal administration reform of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1969, the Hunsrück town was part of the Bernkastel district .

Municipal council

Culture and sights

The 500 year old thick oak is protected as a natural monument. The Protestant village church dates from 1719. One of the first electric flour mills in the Hunsrück was set up in a half-timbered house from 1926.
