Siesbach is located in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park . 68.3 percent of the district area is forested. In the north-east is Hettenrodt , southeast Mackenrodt and west is Leisel . The next larger city is Idar-Oberstein, three kilometers south-east . Siesbach is a national park community in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park . The municipal council in Siesbach consists of eight council members, who were elected by a majority vote in the local elections on May 26, 2019 , and the honorary local mayor as chairman.
