Antonowka ( Russian Антоновка , German Brasdorf ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion . According to the last two censuses from 2002 and 2010, the place is uninhabited.
Geographical location
Antonowka is located 20 kilometers northeast of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) . The place can be reached from the regional road 27A-024 (ex A190 ) near Morgunowo (Langendorf) in a southerly direction. The nearest train station is the Ostanowotschny point (Op = "stopping point") Bajewka ( Kuikeim , called Kuggen until 1945 ) on the Kaliningrad – Sowetsk railway line (Königsberg – Tilsit) .

The before 1946 Brasdorf called place belonged to his abode to Good Hope from 1874 to 1945 for the district of Pogge Pfuhl (now Russian: Mendelejewo) in the district of Königsberg (Prussia) (1939-1945 district Samland ) in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia . The population was 303 in 1910. It rose to 320 by 1933 and in 1939 was already 348.
In 1945, Brasdorf came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Antonowka and was assigned to the village soviet Dobrinski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Antonovka belonged to the rural municipality Dobrinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

The majority of the population of Brasdorf before 1945 was of the Protestant denomination. The place was in the parish of Schönwalde (today Russian: Jaroslawskoje) in the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Antonowka is in the catchment area of the newly established Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) , a branch congregation of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
