history
Frjasino emerged from several villages that had been known since the 1580s. One of them was called Frjasinovka after the family name of its landowner. This in turn came from the word Fryazin , which was used to designate Italian architects working in Russia at the time. Since 1784 the villages were known as Frjasina , from 1862 then as Frjasino. As an industrial town, Frjasino did not gain importance until the beginning of the 20th century: At that time, a textile factory and a brick factory were built there.
After the October Revolution and the nationalization of the factories, the place developed into a workers' settlement, which in 1951 - the place now had around 12,000 inhabitants - received city rights.
