history
The first written mention of Kraskowo as a village comes from 1623, which is therefore considered to be the year the place was founded. The name comes from the family name of one of the landowners at the time. From the 17th to the 19th century Kraskowo changed hands several times and at times also belonged to representatives of the Galitzin and Trubetskoi families .
From the end of the 19th century, summer houses were increasingly built in and around Kraskowo, so that the place developed into a dacha settlement typical of the Moscow area , where famous artists such as Anton Chekhov or Maxim Gorky stayed several times. The first public hospital in the Lyubertsy district was opened in Kraskowo as early as 1898.
In the later 20th century, in addition to other dachas, modern residential areas based on urban models were built in Kraskowo.
