Jack "Gentleman" Keller (born December 29, 1942 , † December 5, 2003 in Tunica , Mississippi ) was a professional American poker player .

Poker career

Career

Keller served in the Air Force before he turned pro poker. He won the Main Event of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in 1984, as well as two other bracelets in that tournament series. Overall, he won during his tournament career more than 3.5 million US dollars . In 1994 he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame .

Keller died in December 2003 at the age of 60, leaving three children, including professional poker player Kathy Kolberg .
