Saint-Hippolyte is a French village with 134 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Castillon-la-Bataille ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Hippolytains .

Saint-Hippolyte is about 45 kilometers east of Bordeaux . Saint-Hippolyte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes in the north, Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse in the east, Saint-Pey-d'Armens in the south and south-east and Saint-Laurent-des-Combes in the west.
