Châteaudouble is located about 16 kilometers east-southeast of Valence on the Véore . Châteaudouble is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Charpey in the north, Peyrus in the northeast, Léoncel in the east, Le Chaffal in the southeast, Combovin in the south, Chabeuil in the west and Montélier in the northwest.
