Uslowoje ( Russian Узловое , German Königlich Neuendorf , 1931-1945 Neuendorf (Kurisches Haff) ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .
Geographical location
Uslowoje is located 24 kilometers northeast of the Oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the municipal road 27K-070 from Dobrino (Nautzken) on the regional road 27A-024 (ex A190 ) to Salivnoe (Postnicken) on the Curonian Lagoon . In addition, the municipal road 27K-378 coming from Sokolowka (Damerau) ends in Uslowoje. It is eight kilometers to the coast of the Curonian Lagoon (Russian: Kurschski Saliw).
The nearest train station is Bajewka 1 (formerly Kuggen ) on the Kaliningrad – Sovetsk line (Königsberg – Tilsit) .
history
The village, named Königlich Neuendorf until 1931 (as distinct from Adlig Neuendorf (today Russian: Rschewskoje ), at that time also located in the Königsberg district), was incorporated into the newly established Damerau district (Russian: Sokolowka) in 1874 and belonged to the Königsberg district (Prussia) in Königsberg district of the Prussian province of East Prussia . On May 14, 1930, Königlich Neuendorf was reclassified to the district of Gallgarben (Russian: Marschalskoje). On September 30, 1931, the rural community was given the name " Neuendorf " (without addition), which was changed to "Neuendorf (Kurisches Lagoon)" on October 14 of the same year.
As a result of the Second World War , Neuendorf was incorporated into the Soviet Union within northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place received the Russian name Uslowoje and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Saliwenski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Later the place came into the Marschalski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 Uzlovoe belonged to the rural municipality of Khrabrovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

With its almost exclusively evangelical population, Neuendorf was parish until 1945 in the parish of Schaaken with the parish seat in the church of Schaaken (today in Russian: Schemtschuschnoje). It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Uslowoje is located in the catchment area of the newly established Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) , a branch congregation of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
