Woog is the vernacular name for pond. The Woogstraße leads to the Wooggraben at the Ginnheimer Wäldchen.

Worms , a city on the Rhine already founded by the Celts. This makes it one of the oldest cities in Germany. It belonged to Hessen-Darmstadt ( Rheinhessen ) until 1945 , after which it was incorporated into the newly emerging Rhineland-Palatinate .
