In 1951 they came into the possession of the Spandau City History Museum and stayed there in the magazine. After the restoration of one of the two bombs, it was agreed in 2009 that it would be loaned to the rifle guild. It should be reminiscent of the movement of a bird that lifts off the ground and flies through the air at a height of ten meters. Thousands of LED lamps symbolize the subject of "digitization". The work of art is one of four sculptures of the same name in an installation that was shown for the first time at the Expo 2015 in Milan. Two more “wings” are in front of the Siemens locations in Munich and Erlangen; a fourth sculpture will be erected in front of Siemens' new headquarters in Milan. Together, as an “innovation bridge”, they are to network the place of foundation and the largest location.

Dismantled sculptures / ornamental fountains / buddy bears

During the Second World War , the district did not experience losses of sculptures directly from the effects of the war, but from so-called “non-ferrous metal collections”, the metal donation made by the German people , with which the high demand for metals for war production was to be covered. As early as the decree of August 28, 1939, the Berlin district authorities had to report monuments and sculptures made of bronze or copper that were suitable for a metal donation. 16 monuments, sculptures and fountains were reported for Spandau. On May 3, 1941, the district offices received a list of the objects to be melted down. The specific art objects were then demolished and melted down between September 8 and October 20, 1942. On December 12, 1944, the meltdown was officially ended.

The boulder was then placed on a masonry base and received names like Last tooth Jaczos or erratic block of Pichelswerder . The Berlin vernacular christened the stone, a rectangular parallelepiped , approx. 85 cm high and approx. 60 cm wide, with the name Wendish sacrificial altar .

Illustration Ceramic column Column with ceramic plates , 1937 Gottfried caps Dismantled, former location: Heerstraße , western corner with Pichelsdorfer Straße ( Wilhelmstadt ). The pillar erected on June 1, 1937 with the shape of a hexagon was primarily intended to draw the road users' attention to Spandau, which is located off the Heerstraße. It was meant to be a revival of the ancient custom of milestones . Six ceramic plates (fired, glazed clay) were placed in three rows one above the other . The history, trade, industry and landscape of Spandau were represented symbolically; the city arms of Spandau and Velten formed the end of the actual column. The crown of the column was a globe tilted in the inclination of the ecliptic , around which a ribbon with twelve constellations wound at the equator . In the middle was the words “Visits Spandau!”. The four-meter-high column was badly damaged by fire during World War II . The demolition took place in 1958, because a reconstruction failed because of excessive costs; the ceramic plates that have been preserved have been in the Spandau Local History Museum since then.

Efforts have been made since 2012 to rebuild the pillar at its original location.
