Vallons de l'Erdre is a French municipality with 6556 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Châteaubriant-Ancenis and is part of the canton of Ancenis . The inhabitants are called Valonais .

On January 1, 2018, Vallons-de-l'Erdre became a Commune nouvelle from the municipalities of Bonnœuvre , Freigné (formerly Maine-et-Loire ), Maumusson , Saint-Mars-la-Jaille , Saint-Sulpice-des-Landes and Vritz formed. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Mars-la-Jaille.
