Ladies price WTA Awards

The ATP Awards comprises various awards which are given by the ATP for special achievements. Pete Sampras was voted the player of the year most often. He won the award six times in a row. In the years 1993 to 1998 he ended the year in first place in the tennis world rankings . When the fans voted on the ATP side, Roger Federer was voted the most popular player 17 times in a row, from 2003 to 2019. The brothers Bob and Mike Bryan have won the award for the best double team on the tour ten times (2003, 2005–2007, 2009–2014). They also won the fan voting of the most popular team 13 times in a row from 2005 to 2017.

Most Improved Player Award

The Most Improved Player Award is given to a player who has improved compared to the previous season and who achieved a significantly higher position in the tennis world rankings at the end of the year than at the beginning of the year.

Marinko Matosevic fought his way from position 203 to position 49 in the world rankings in 2012.

Newcomer of the year

This award is given annually to the youngest player to be placed in the top 100 of the Emirates ATP rankings at the end of the year. Between 2013 and 2017 the award was called the ATP Star of Tomorrow Award .

The award goes to the player who behaved with the greatest professionalism and integrity throughout the season. He dealt with his teammates with the greatest fairness and also promoted tennis with activities off the field.
