Aubin is a French commune with 3761 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). Aubin is part of the Villefranche-de-Rouergue arrondissement . The inhabitants are called Aubinois .

Aubin lies on the Enne river . The Riou Viou delimits the municipality to the south . Aubin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Decazeville in the north, Noailhac in the northeast, Firmi in the east, Cransac and Auzits in the southeast, Lugan in the south, Galgan and Valzergues in the southwest, Les Albres in the west and Viviez in the northwest.
