List of mechanized delivery bases

The mechanized delivery base ( MechZB ) has been a further logistics base for Deutsche Post DHL alongside the parcel centers since 2012 .

Around 80 such new locations had been set up by 2017. Like the parcel centers, these are assigned to the letter branches. However, not every delivery base that is in the supply area of ​​the same parcel center also belongs to the same branch. Newer locations, which are operated exclusively by DHL Delivery in individual cases, are also called MechDepot. The new locations are usually built by an investor in accordance with the specifications of Deutsche Post DHL and initially rented by the latter for 15 years. On March 27, 2019, Deutsche Post DHL announced in a press release that it would integrate the employees of DHL Delivery into the parent company on July 1, 2019.
