During this electoral period, the 15th ordinary Landtag met from September 20, 1848 to August 11, 1849. This Landtag, under the fresh impression of the events of the March Revolution of 1848 , went down in history as the "Long Landtag". The First Chamber did not meet since May 26, 1849.
