Sainte-Croix ( Santa Crotz in Occitan ) is a French commune with 736 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Villeneuvois et Villefranchois (until 2015 Villeneuve ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Cruziennes .

Sainte-Croix is located about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Rodez . Sainte-Croix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Capelle-Balaguier in the north and north-west, Ols-et-Rinhodes in the north, Villeneuve in the north and east, Toulonjac in the south-east, Savignac in the south and south-east and Martiel in the west and south-west.
