Dodge County is a county in the state of Nebraska in the United States . The county seat is Fremont , named after John C. Frémont , an early explorer of the area.

According to the 2000 census , Dodge County had 36,160 people. Of these, 1,173 residents were housed in collective accommodation, the other residents lived in 14,433 households and 9,756 families.
