List of sacred buildings in Dresden
The list of religious buildings in Dresden provides an overview of the church history, the city's history or architecturally important religious buildings in Dresden . While the first section (“List of sacred buildings”) contains existing churches, the second section (“Church ruins and rededicated sacred buildings”) lists sacred buildings that still exist but are no longer used as places of worship. In the third section (“Destroyed churches and sacred buildings”) the most important sacred buildings that no longer exist today were included. Most of them were destroyed by the air raids in 1945 .

- Street / district: gives the address of the sacred building. The column is sorted according to the district.
- Denomination: Name the denomination.
- Construction time: states the construction time and gives the dates of a fundamental renovation.
- Architect: Names the architect or architects of the sacred building.
- Other: Contains information on the equipment, community membership, previous functions or conversions. The reason for the rededication is given in the list of church ruins and rededicated sacred buildings.
- Location: Indicates the geographic coordinates of the sacred building.
