Würzlaysteig

The Würzlaysteig is a linear themed trail along the Mosel.Erlebnis.Route between the municipalities of Lehmen and Löf and is named after the neighboring vineyards of Würzlay . The official opening was on June 3, 2012. The northern 'entry' of the path is on the “Auf der Pat” road in Lehmen. From there, the newly created path initially runs above the steepest vineyards, some of which are unfortunately no longer cultivated. Forest passages and open areas follow later. Insights into the Moselle valley open up again and again.

At numerous themed desks, the hiker learns interesting facts about the cultural landscape of the Terrassenmosel . The physically demanding section ends at the Ausoniusstein and then follows the existing hiking trails over slate mine, Kattenes (Mühlental), Kehrbachtal and Alzbachtal to Löf.
