Ptscholino ( Russian Пчёлино , German Talskeim ) is a place in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Prawdinsk in Pravdinsky District . The place is apparently no longer at the former German local office Talskeim, but at the local office Wolmen Ost (Klein Sporwitten) located about two kilometers to the west, which was initially called Vostochnoje in Russian. The former place Talskeim is deserted.

Geographical location

Ptscholino is ten kilometers southwest of the Rajon capital Prawdinsk (Friedland) and can be reached via a side road that branches off at Poddubnoje (Groß Sporwitten) from the road from Prawdinsk to Schirokoje (Schönbruch ) - former German Reichsstraße 142 . It is only two kilometers to the Russian-Polish border.

Until 1945 there was a connection to the railway line from Wehlau (Russian: Snamensk) via Bartenstein (now Polish: Bartoszyce) to Heilsberg (Polish: Lidzbark Warmiński) via the Schönbruch (Russian: Schirokoje) train station , but it is no longer in service.

history

The place once called valley germ was until a Vorwerk of Groß Sporwitten (Poddubnoje) and with the "mother community" in its history closely connected. Until 1935 he belonged to the district of Groß Sporwitten, then until 1945 to the district of Deutsch Wilten (Jermakowo) in the Friedland district , from 1927 to the Bartenstein district (Ostpr.) In the Königsberg district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .

In 1945 Talskeim came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia and in 1950 was named "Ptscholino". At the same time the place was incorporated into the village soviet or village district Domnowski selski Sowet (okrug) in Pravdinsk district. From 2004 to 2015 Ptscholino belonged to the rural municipality Domnowskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Pravdinsk.

church

The vast majority of the residents of Talskeims before 1945 were Protestants . The place was parish in the parish Deutsch Wilten (today Russian: Jermakowo), that to the church district Friedland (Russian: Prawdinsk), from 1927 to the church district Bartenstein (today Polish: Bartoszyce) within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today there is a church connection from Ptscholino to Domnowo, where a new evangelical congregation was formed in the 1990s. It is a branch parish of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad and belongs to the Kaliningrad provost in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
