Saint-Christaud ( Occitan : Sent Cristau ) is a French commune with 244 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Saint-Christaud belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive (until 2015 Montesquieu-Volvestre ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Christaudiens .

Saint-Christaud is located about 35 kilometers south-southwest of Muret . The Garonne delimits the municipality in the northwest. Saint-Christaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gensac-sur-Garonne in the north, Goutevernisse in the north-east, Montesquieu-Volvestre in the east, Montberaud in the south and south-east, Le Plan in the south, Saint-Michel in the south-west, Couladère in the west and Cazères in the north-west .
