In 1950 Kalgen was given the Russian name Schosseinoje and was assigned to the village soviet Zwetkowski selski Sowet in Kaliningrad Rajon . In 1955 the sovkhoz was named Novo-Moskovsky. Apparently since 1965 Schosseinoye was the administrative seat of the Novomoskowski selski Sowet in Guryevsk Raion . From 2008 to 2013 Schosseinoye was the administrative seat of the rural municipality Novomoskowskoje selskoje posselenije. Since then, the place has belonged to the Gurjewsk district.
