Saint-Quentin-Fallavier is a French municipality with 6103 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .

Terrorist attack

On June 26, 2015, there was an attack by alleged Islamist terrorists on an industrial gases factory in the town . At least one person was killed and several injured. The perpetrators had exploded several gas containers.

Town twinning

Saint-Quentin has been related to the German municipality of Freigericht since 1971, and since 2004 also to the Italian municipality of Gallicano nel Lazio .
