Baudrières is located in the natural landscape of Bresse , around twelve kilometers east of Chalon-sur-Saône , on the small river Tenarre . Baudrières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-du-Plain in the north and west, Saint-Étienne-en-Bresse in the north-east, Saint-Vincent-en-Bresse in the east, La Frette in the south-east, Simandre in the south and Ormes in the south-west .
