Four is a French commune with 1,494 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; administratively it belongs to the arrondissement La Tour-du-Pin and is part of the canton L'Isle-d'Abeau (until 2015: canton La Verpillière ).

Four is located about 34 kilometers southeast of Lyon . Four is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vaulx-Milieu in the north, L'Isle-d'Abeau in the northeast, Saint-Alban-de-Roche in the east, Chèzeneuve in the east and southeast, Artas in the south, Roche in the west and Villefontaine in the northwest.
