Blazon : "Above a blue shield base, divided by a wave cut, split by gold and red. On the right of the gap a red-armored, black half eagle, on the left of the gap a golden half lily."
The municipality of Lehe has the symbols of the Dithmarsch family of the Wurtmannen in its coat of arms with an eagle and a lily as central figures. The village "Lae" is mentioned as early as 1231 in King Waldemar's book of earth. The location on the Eider , represented by the blue base of the shield, made the place strategically important. The well-known Swyn and Nanne families have lived in Lehe since ancient times. They belonged as "gaps" to the powerful and respected family of the Wurtmannen, whose coat of arms with the half eagle and half a lily is quoted in today's municipal coat of arms . In memory of Peter Swyn from Lehe (1480–1537), the most important statesman of the Dithmarschen peasant republic, and his grandson Markus Swyn , the first ducal governor of Norderdithmarschen , the coat of arms of the Wurtmannen was included in the municipal coat of arms, although the lily was gold instead of silver tinged.
The coat of arms was designed by the Brunsbüttel heraldist Willy "Horsa" Lippert .
