MTV Video Music Awards / Best Group Video

The MTV Video Music Award for Best Group Video was one of the first categories of the award. It was introduced with the first award in 1984 . In 2007, as part of the restructuring of the awards, it was renamed Best Group for the one year . In 2008, when the MTV Video Music Awards returned to their original format, it was not revived.

With three wins, No Doubt leads the leaderboard. The most nominations were U2 with seven videos in six different years.
