MTV Video Music Awards / Best Editing

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The MTV Video Music Award for Best Editing is one of the technical categories. It is one of the few awards that have been given continuously since 1984. From 1984 to 2006 it was called Best Editing in a Video .

As with all technical categories, in this case too the artist, the artist's manager and the actual performer, in this case the video's film editor , are recognized.

The record is held by Jarrett Fijal and Ken Mowe, who have each received the award three times. Robert Duffy and Jarrett Fijal have also been nominated seven times.

Beyoncé won the artist award four times. With five nominations, she also tops the nomination list. Beyoncé and Billie Eilish are also the only artists to receive the award as both performer and editor.
