By the music channel MTV presented MTV Video Music Awards 2014 have on 24 August 2014 The Forum in Inglewood , California occurred. Like last year, the annual event was not moderated by any special moderator. Beyoncé Knowles got the most nominations at eight, while Eminem and Iggy Azalea each got seven. The big favorite, Beyoncé, took home four prizes. Beyoncé also received the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for her life's work. The most important award for Video of the Year went to Miley Cyrus for her music video for Wrecking Ball .
