The district of Mendrisio (Italian: Distretto di Mendrisio or Mendrisiotto, former Landvogtei Mendris ) is a district of the Swiss canton of Ticino . The main town is Mendrisio .

The Mendrisio district consists of 11 municipalities, which are divided into five districts (circoli)

• Caneggio
• Mendrisio
• Riva San Vitale
• Stabio
