Location of Schwarzenbach in Halver

Schwarzenbach is a locality of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Schwarzenbach is located northwest of the main town in Halver and is now part of an industrial park. The neighboring towns are the main town Halver and the suburbs Weißenpferd , Schmalenbach , Kirchlöh , Löhbach and Oberhürxtal .

The place can be reached via side roads from the federal road 229 , the state road 528 or the main town, which also connect Löhbach. Schwarzenbach can no longer be perceived as an independent settlement area, as it is completely enclosed by the industrial area between Oege and the main town. It is located on an old route of the state road 528, which has been replaced by a bypass.

history

In 1838 Schwarzenbach belonged to the Halver village farmers within the Halver mayor . The place called Kotten according to the location and distance table of the government district of Arnsberg had a residential building at that time. At that time, eight people lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

The municipality encyclopedia for the province of Westphalia from 1887 gives a number of 38 inhabitants who lived in five houses.

An old road from Halver via Wipperfürth , Halver, Kierspe to Meinerzhagen ran past Schwarzenbach on the route of today's state road 528 , the Hileweg , an important early medieval (according to other views already early historical ) trade , pilgrimage and military route .
