The Copa del Generalísimo 1949/50 was the 46th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on November 27, 1949 and ended with the final on May 28, 1950 in the Nuevo Estadio Chamartín in Madrid . Defender of the Cup competition was FC Valencia . Atlético Bilbao won the title with a 4-1 win after extra time against Real Valladolid in the final .
