The three-cushion European championship in 1975 was the 33rd tournament in this discipline of carom billiards and took place from 10 to 15 December 1974 in Rotterdam . It was the first three-cushion European Championship in Rotterdam and the eighth in the Netherlands.

history

Despite a defeat against local hero Rini van Bracht , Raymond Ceulemans secured his 13th European three-cushion title. In a tournament without a new European record, van Bracht managed to beat both Belgians and secured his first three-cushion runner-up European title. In 1971 he was runner-up in the world championship. The Belgian Laurent Boulanger finished third with his best EM performance in the general average (GD) since his EM debut in 1960. Johann Scherz took fourth place with equal points among the medal collectors of the last eighteen years . With 15 points, he set a new Austrian record in the highest series (HS). The German champion Dieter Müller from Berlin finished ninth, exactly the same place as last year in Eeklo.

mode

The game was played in the system “everyone against everyone” to 60 points with additional push / equal intake .
