Jayac is located about 55 kilometers east-southeast of Périgueux . Neighboring communities are La Dornac in the north, Nadaillac in the east, Borrèze in the south and south-east, Paulin in the south, Archignac in the west and south-west and La Cassagne in the west and north-west.
