Chourgnac (also: Chourgnac-d'Ans , Occitan : Chornhac ) is a French commune with 60 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Dordogne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Sarlat-la-Canéda (until 2017 Périgeux ) and the canton of Haut-Périgord Noir, which has existed since 2015 (until 2015 Hautefort ). The residents call themselves Chourgnacois .
geography
Chourgnac is located about 24 kilometers east-northeast of Périgueux . Neighboring communities are Tourtoirac in the north, Sainte-Orse in the south and east, Gabillou in the southwest and Sainte-Eulalie-d'Ans in the south and west.
