Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare ( Occitan : Lo Lardin e Sent Lazar ) is a municipality ( commune ) in southwestern France with 1,753 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Dordogne department in the northeast of the Aquitaine region . Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare is part of the Sarlat-la-Canéda arrondissement and the Haut-Périgord Noir canton .

Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare is located in the old cultural landscape of the Périgord near the border with the Limousin about 40 kilometers east-southeast of Périgueux and about 24 kilometers west-southwest of Brive-la-Gaillarde . The Vézère forms the southern municipal boundary. Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beauregard-de-Terrasson in the north, Terrasson-la-Villedieu in the east, Condat-sur-Vézère in the south, Les Farges in the southwest, La Bachellerie in the west and Peyrignac in the north-west.
