Bionville-sur-Nied (German: Bingen ) is a French commune with 381 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Forbach-Boulay-Moselle arrondissement and the Houve-Pays Boulageois municipal association .

The community of Bionville-sur-Nied lies at an altitude of approx. 215 m above sea level, 23 kilometers east of Metz . The municipality extends from the valley of the German Nied (Nied Allemande) to the hills to the east and west of the valley, which are up to 100 meters higher.
The 8.5 km² area of the municipality of Bionville-sur-Nied is characterized by arable land, interrupted by meadows on the Nied and smaller forests, which make up about 15% of the municipality.
